After several attempts failing due to bad weather and illness the Danish Karakoram Expedition consisting of Henrik Jessen Hansen (leader), Kim Sejberg, Jan Mathorne, and Bo Belvedere Christensen finally got started on the summit attempt on July 17th 1994.
