Expeditions in the Himalayas
The Danish Himalayan Association (Dansk Himalaya Selskab) have arranged and led expeditions to the Himalayas since 1988. We have attempted and scaled Himalayan mountains in Nepal, Tibet, Xinjiang, Pakistan and India.

Some of the expeditions are:
- Dhaulagiri 2017, cancelled due to lack of sponsors.
- Mt. Everest 2015, solo attempt by Bo Belvedere Christensen, stopped by the terrible earthquake in the spring of 2015.
- Cho Oyu, solo ascent by Bo Belvedere Christensen, succesful.
- Mt. Everest 2013, led by Bo Belvedere Christensen, succesful.
- Mustagh Ata 2010, led by Bo Belvedere Christensen.
- Lhakpa Ri 2009, led by Bo Belvedere Christensen, succesful.
- Baruntse 2008, led by Bo Belvedere Christensen, succesful.
- Janak Himal 2002, led by Henrik Jessen Hansen, resulting in the ascent of two previously unclimbed mountains, Danga (6238 meter) and Pandra (6673 meter), succesful (very 🙂 ).
- Mt. Everest 2000, led by Henrik Jessen Hansen, succesful.
- Gasherbrum I 1998, led by Henrik Jessen Hansen, succesful.
- Mt. Everest 1996, led by Henrik Jessen Hansen.
- Broad Peak 1994, led by Henrik Jessen Hansen, succesful.
- Dhaulagiri 1991, led by Henrik Jessen Hansen and Soeren Smidt, succesful.
- Ama Dablam 1988, led by Casper Sutton, succesful
